                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 3148
                   WATERFRONT DRIVE, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE
                   OF WATERFRONT DRIVE SOUTHEAST OF BROWN'S FERRY
                   ROAD, FROM RT-1 RESIDENTIAL TOWNHOUSE ZONE TO
                   R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 3148 Waterfront Drive,
                being on the southwest line of Waterfront Drive
                southeast of Brown's Ferry Road.  Lot 3B, Browns
                Ferry Landing, as shown by plat of record in plat
                book 45, page 305, ROHC; being the property
                described in deed book 4042, page 477, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 144D-C-2.17 (part).
               
               
         from RT-1 Residential Townhouse Zone to R-1 Residential Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
